Kenilworth Town Council

Kenilworth Town Council is working with Kenilworth School & Sixth Form and local transport planning consultants The Transportation Consultancy to seek to improve road safety near the school.

A new banking hub has opened in a temporary location in Kenilworth, giving residents access to all major banks.

Questions remain unanswered about the future of a former landfill site in Kenilworth which could become a public open space.

Town councillors have once again been left frustrated over a lack of joined-up thinking around road closures in Kenilworth.

A year-long wait for repairs to be made to Kenilworth's clock tower is expected to come to an end this month.

The town council will not be given any additional funding to take on extra responsibility from its district colleagues, councillors have been told.

Warwick District Council

The latest public consultation into the new South Warwickshire Local Plan has now finished - but what happens next?

Works on the new Abbey Fields swimming pools are three months ahead of schedule, according to a report presented to Kenilworth Town Council.

Long-running plans to create a new cycle path in Abbey Fields have been delayed once again, with a planning public consultation now due to take place later this spring.

A Kenilworth park has been given a much-needed makeover some five years after the project was due to begin.

Warwickshire County Council

Establishing two new unitary authorities is the "clear preference" of the districts and boroughs across Warwickshire according to one council leader.

Warwickshire County Council plans to cut by a quarter spending on SEND mediation services have been met with concern. 

The deputy leader of Warwickshire County Council has accused the government of "rewarding failure" after new rules saw one grant cut by more than half.

The new council delivery plan for Warwickshire County Council will have "little credibility" with residents as it does not address the continued delays to the new A46 Stoneleigh Junction nor to the Kenilworth to Leamington (K2L) cycleway.

Stress and mental health-related staff absence at Warwickshire County Council continues to surge but a director insists: "We have got a grip."

The deputy leader of Warwickshire County Council will swap balance sheets for his bucket list having confirmed he will not stand for re-election in May. 

Locals will go to the polls in Warwickshire this May to elect a new county council after a bid to push this year's election was snubbed.
