A joint statement from all five district and borough councils in Warwickshire has been released today, proposing a survey of local residents and organisations in Warwickshire of their view on proposed reforms to local government.

Yesterday Kenilworth Nub News reported the findings of a report from Warwickshire County Council which is to be discussed at an extraordinary cabinet meeting this Thursday.

A group of five men will be braving the tough swim across the Channel this September in Aid of Aspire.

Swimming the event as a relay, each member of the team will swim for an hour, before letting the next have a turn – always in the same order.

Some of the most vulnerable people in Kenilworth are being supported by the newly-formed charity Covid-19 Kenilworth and the local businesses around them.

The council announced on August 11 that they would be offering three different opportunities under their 'Kenilworth is Open for Business' campaign, for local consultancy services.

The original deadline for applications had been Monday August 31, this has now been extended to 5pm on Monday 14 September.

The first opportunity invites quotations "for the provision of consultancy services to support local businesses in developing their web and social media presence."

Kenilworth Wardens Reserves played local rivals The Engine in their second preseason friendly this weekend.

Playing in the pouring rain at Castle Farm, the Wardens produced an inconsistent display which left the management team frustrated on the sidelines.

This weekend Kenilworth Croquet Club hosted the semi finals of the 2020 Wells Cup, the Kenilworth Gold Croquet Club Championship.

Mervyn Harvey and Adrian Morris made it through their respective semi finals, to set up an exciting final.
