Kenilworth Town Council have announced that it is extending the application period for their invitations to tender.[H2]

The council announced on August 11 that they would be offering three different opportunities under their 'Kenilworth is Open for Business' campaign, for local consultancy services.

The original deadline for applications had been Monday August 31, this has now been extended to 5pm on Monday 14 September.

[H2]What are the opportunities?

The first opportunity invites quotations "for the provision of consultancy services to support local businesses in developing their web and social media presence."

The second invites quotations for developing the promotion of Kenilworth as a tourist destination. This is planned to increase the money and time spent at attractions, whilst also intending to ease moving between sites within the town.

The third invitation is for quotations to help with a 'locate in Kenilworth' program.

This aims to "stimulate moving to Kenilworth to live, learn and work," and will hope to be delivered via "a series of high-quality video clips."

An online briefing meeting was held on Monday August 17 which gave potential applicants the chance to learn more about the three schemes.

The council have communicated responses from Warwickshire District Council Procurement to questions raised during the meeting.

Can a bidder bid for all three strands of work?

"Yes – but will be required to bid for each in isolation with the full resources allocated for each. If multiples are won, then it is at the suppliers discretion to offer consolidation of resources and a discount."

Can they work on another part of one of the projects and share it with another company?

"Two companies can join together and make a bid as long as they declare this in their submission."

Can you win one tender and work on another tender with another company?

"Yes as long as you don't use resources allocated to the tender that you have won."

[I]Sole Traders – What will they need to provide for the checks?[I]

"Company reg number, draft accounts if required."
