A Kenilworth football club is looking for new community sponsors to come on board, as it continues to grow.

Having reformed in 2018, Kenilworth Wardens Football Club now has three senior sides, with its first team having enjoyed three back to back promotions to return to the Coventry Alliance Premier.

The Glasshouse Lane outfit has worked with a number of local businesses over the last few years as it got back up and running, and is now looking for more sponsors to come on board.

"We are a Kenilworth club, our players all have ties with Kenilworth and we want to be at the centre of the community," first team manager Eamonn Richards explained to Nub News.

"We want community-focused Kenilworth businesses to be supporting us, as we continue to grow on and off the pitch.

"And we know from previous experiences that these sponsorship arrangements go both ways.

"Our sponsors in the past have consistently gained business by partnering with us. We want to do far more with them than just putting their logo on a shirt."

In particular the club is looking for a new kit sponsor for its Sunday side which, since launching two years ago, has enjoyed back to back promotions to reach the Leamington and District Sunday League division two.

While last season the men's first team missed out on cup glory, losing in the Stan Oulds Cup final to Copsewood, they did enjoy a strong first season back in the premiership.

Meanwhile the reserves narrowly missed out on promotion and also lost a cup final.

"The club is clearly going in the right direction," Richards added.

"But we need support to keep moving forwards. So the more sponsors and partners we can get on board, the better."

The club is also on the lookout for a tracksuit sponsor across its three teams.
