A firefighter in Kenilworth who was assaulted on her cycle home from work this week has said she 'heard them laughing' after driving off.

The community group Friends of Kenilworth Station have announced that entries are open for their mural art competition.

The group, who maintain the grounds at Kenilworth station, have been working with local schools and youth groups to start this competition.

Needless to say the Fairtrade Foundation is a household brand in the UK, synonymous with sustainability, and protecting producers across the world, but readers may be less familiar with Fairtrade in Kenilworth.

Kenilworth has been a Fairtrade town since December 2007, when a group of local volunteers, actively campaigned on the Fairtrade issue.

The organiser of Kenilworth ZUU fitness, Phil Thomas, has had the tables turned on him, and has been using ZUU to recover from illness, rather than teaching others.

On May 16 57-year-old Phil Thomas was suddenly rushed to hospital after he felt a sudden weakness in his legs. Test revealed that he was suffering from GBS or Guillain Barre Syndrome.

Kenilworth residents and businesses are set to be consulted to help refresh the Local Transport Plan in Warwickshire.

Tony Sewell, the man behind The Cycle Recycler, has raised £12,000 for charity during lockdown.

The Cycle Recycler is a social enterprise business, which takes donations of second-hand bikes, restores them to full working condition, and sells them on, donating some of the proceeds to charity.
