Two local pubs are offering a limited-time offer on glasses to help raise money for the Poppy Appeal.

Pub giants Marston's and the Royal British Legion have partnered to create brand new, poppy-themed glasses to raise vital funds for veterans during this year's Poppy Appeal.

The limited edition pint and half pint glasses are available at the Wyandotte Inn in Kenilworth and Ye Olde Saracen's Head in Balsall Common.

Pint glasses will cost £2.50 and half pint glasses will cost £2.00.

All the profit profit, which is £0.47 from half pint and £0.97 from pint glass sales will be paid to the Royal British Legion Trading Limited which gives its taxable profits to the Royal British Legion.

Glasses will be available to purchase empty, as well as with drinks to be enjoyed in pubs, before taking them home. It's the only glass we want you to take home this remembrance month!

The limited edition poppy glasses are just one part of Marston's month to remember, with pubs running awareness and fundraising events up and down the country, including everything from community breakfasts, to live music to say cheers to our veterans past and present.

Traditional pin-on poppies will also be available to purchase.

"We're so proud to be working in partnership with the Royal British Legion to give our guests another way to raise awareness and crucial funds for veterans, who are such a large part of the Marston's community," the brewery said.

"We want to welcome everyone to their local pub for what will be a month to remember and join us in saying thanks to our veterans."
