Kenilworth Wardens beat Dunlop for the fourth time this campaign to put them in the final of the Stan Oulds Cup.
Dunlop only needed a draw to be in the final two, but a brace from Ben Edmunds and a back post header from Toby Wells wrapped up the result for the visitors.
The hosts had started the better side, dominating possession from early on albeit without troubling Andy Whitehouse in the Wardens goal.
Kenilworth's game plan of going long over Dunlop's press was hampered by the wind which meant they struggled to get a foot in the game.
Despite this it was the visitors who created the first real chance of the game. On 15 minutes Eamonn Richards' free kick was diverted towards Jack Thomas, but his shot was expertly blocked on the line by impressive Dunlop captain Sam Brefo.
Ten minutes later though, they did take the lead. A long ball forward was flicked on by Wardens captain Andy Legg towards Thomas who laid the ball to Legg to cross into the box for Edmunds to chest and volley into the roof of the net from a tight angle.
Wardens then doubled their lead on 35 minutes. A Thomas free kick was nodded towards goal by Legg, with Edmunds reacting quickest at the back post to head home from close range.
Dunlop continued to dominate with the ball and forced Whitehouse into a couple of impressive saves.
Then on 45 minutes a tackle by Twigger was adjudged to be a foul in the box leading to a Dunlop penalty. Which Jack Campbell-Watkins put away to bring them back within one.
The second half fell into the same pattern, with Dunlop dominating but not threatening the goal, marshalled by the excellent James Brewitt and George Shelton at centre back.
Controversy struck on 60 minutes. A long ball forward left a Dunlop player running at goal, Whitehouse came out and the ball hit his hand. However the referee adjudged it to be accidental since his hand was by his side, much to the fury of home players.
Wardens had a spell of coming close from set pieces, with Dunlop's keeper punching a goal-bound corner away from Richards.
But on 65 minutes Wardens restored their two goal advantage. A quick throw in by the brilliant Phil Rudd to Edmunds allowed him to run to the byline and cross to Wells at the back post to head home.
Dunlop continued to pile on pressure but all their half chances were comfortably saved by Whitehouse, with the game finishing 3-1.
"Dunlop are a technically and physically brilliant side. However we've beat them four times this year by being tactically excellent and disciplined," player manager Richards said after the game.
"I'm glad we've got to a final, we've deserved it.
"But honestly my favourite part of today was the squad, we've got no egos, all 15 lads played their part and it was 15 tactically brilliant performances which led to that win.
"It's hard to keep players whom are on the bench happy but I believe every player knew how important they were today."
