The death of a 61-year-old cyclist in Leek Wootton this Wednesday did not involve any other vehicles, Warwickshire Police has confirmed.
A passerby called emergency services after finding the man in the road by the junction of the B4115 and Hill Wootton Road.
Despite the efforts of emergency services the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police appealed for witnesses on Wednesday (January 26) night as they tried to piece together the events leading up to his death.
However officers said they now believe no other vehicles were involved - although investigations are ongoing.
The cause of death is still unknown and will be decided at a coroner's inquest.
A Warwickshire Police statement said: "At this time we believe no other vehicles were involved in the incident, however this is still subject to investigation and cause of death will be determined by the coroner."
