Kenilworth Town Council
With budget setting dominating the council's last meeting, councillors have criticised Conservative members for their 'last minute' change of mind on the council tax precept.
The council has also said it is committed to supporting Kenilworth residents and community organisations during cost of living crisis, having been called on to use it cash reserves to support local groups.
Kenilworth Town Council unanimously approved a £62,750 spend from its CIL budget to help finance the works on Warwick Road.
Over £35,000 has been given to a natural flood defence project in Kenilworth that could reduce the risk of the Castle Road ford filling during periods of heavy rain.
Warwick District Council
Residents are being urged to make sure they are ready to vote in May by checking they have an accepted form of ID.
South Warwickshire residents and businesses are being urged to have their say on a major planning document which will decide where 35,000 new houses will be built in the area.
And the two councils are calling for residents and businesses to suggest more pieces of land in South Warwickshire that could be developed into more housing.
Meanwhile a rethinking of the green belt has been called for by the leader of Warwick District Council as it launched the latest stage of its joint South Warwickshire Local Plan with neighbours Stratford District Council.
Tenants, landlords and residents are among those asked for their views on whether stricter controls should be introduced for houses in multiple occupation (HMOs).
Warwickshire County Council
The first section of work to create a 5km cycleway between Kenilworth and Leamington Spa has been signed off by the county council.
Work is set to begin on converting a Kenilworth footbridge for joint cycling and pedestrian use at the end of March, a council report has revealed.
A final decision on whether Station Road will be permanently closed at its junction with Warwick Road is expected from the county council next month.
Work is set to start on a £78 million project to create a stretch of bathing quality water in the River Leam.
Local Green party councillors have described a major strategy document aimed at reducing carbon emissions across Warwickshire as "woefully inadequate".
Road and lane closures have been confirmed by the county council so the new bridge deck can be put in place across the A46 at Stoneleigh.
More than £400,000 has been secured by the county council to help pay for walking and cycling schemes across Warwickshire.
