A goal from Joe Wright and a brace from Dave Freeman secured all three points for an injury-hit Kenilworth Sporting side at Coventry Alvis.
The day didn't start well for the away side when Jack Low pulled up in the warm up so Martin Ascroft had to make changes before a ball was kicked.
It didn't get any better when the ever present Cameron Welch had to be substituted after a calf strain.
Kenilworth were already leading through a well worked corner from man of the match Joe Taylor on 11 minutes. His corner found Tyrone Wilson who's header found his strike partner Dave Freeman to tap in to make it 1-0.
Kenilworth continued to have all the possession and were playing some lovely football and pinning the Alvis defence in.
On 37 mins another Joe Taylor corner found Joe Wright who's bullet header at the far post made it 2-0 going into the break.
The second half was much of the same with Kenilworth having all of the ball and limiting Alvis to the odd breakaway which was dealt with comfortably by Kenilworth's defence .
Dave Freeman got his second of the day after some neat play down the right hand side which resulted in a far post cross from Callum Mack for Freeman to lash an unstoppable shot past the Alvis defence and keeper.
Speaking after the game Ascroft said: "I'm obviously pleased with an away three points but we didn't really get going.
"Fair play to Alvis who kept playing right up to the final whistle, my players set their own standards, in my opinion we were no where near those standards today."
Sporting will host Alcester at Gypsy Lane on Tuesday night in their next fixture.
