Here are our top picks for the coming days:

1. Farewell Fundraising Festival

Locals will join together this Saturday (July 1) to say goodbye to the current Leyes Lane site before Kenilworth School moves to its new home on Glasshouse Lane.

Kenilworth Multi Academy Trust (KMAT) released tickets for the 'Farewell Fundraising Festival' at the current Leyes Lane site at the end of last month.

Throughout the day there will be live entertainment including a stilt walker, magician and hula hoop artist.

There will be a raffle, with local businesses currently being encouraged to donate prizes.

And the event will culminate in a firework display before finishing at 10pm.

2. Busfest!

The British Motor Museum will be taken over by Busfest this Saturday (July 1).

The Wythall Busfest is arranged in partnership with the Transport Museum Wythall, and will feature over 100 restored, vintage, and modern buses and coaches.

2023 sees the 50th anniversary of the last Daimler bus being built in Coventry, so the organisers are inviting all Daimler buses to come together and celebrate this milestone year.

3. Kenilworth Artists back at St John's

A collective of Kenilworth artists have joined forces this year to take part in the Warwickshire Open Studios event in St John's Church in Kenilworth at the start of July.

Members will have their work on display at St John's Church on July 1 and 2, as part of the annual Summer Art Weeks run by Warwickshire Open Studios.

Jo Ricketts, who heads up the group, explained: "As a group this will be our third Summer Art Weeks exhibition in the beautiful surroundings of St John's Church.

"Having 17 artists in one venue creates a real buzz between our members and makes it an ideal venue to visit, with our artists covering a wide range of work including painting, ceramics, collage, glass, photography, prints, cards and calligraphy there is truly something for every visitor to enjoy."
