Plans for 125 new homes near the canal in a local village have been revealed.
Mac Mic Strategic Land has applied for planning permission for the major new estate on land around Station Lane in Lapworth.
If approved, the scheme would see a new junction created off Kingswood Close.
"[The] applicant is dedicated to providing a well-designed scheme to add value to the village of Kingswood," the application said.
"The submitted illustrative masterplan establishes a strong relationship with the existing settlement.
"It establishes a strong settlement edge for Kingswood, maintains key landscape features, and integrates a connected, permeable layout of streets and green corridors to support movement and biodiversity."
The application to Warwick District Council states half the estate would be designated 'affordable homes'.
It includes a children's play area and green space.
The plans continued: "After assessing the impact of the proposed development on the local transport network, it concludes that the site is well connected with pedestrian routes, cyclist and public transport infrastructure, as well as having a range of key amenities within walking and cycling distance for residents."
The application also makes reference to the fact the council cannot currently demonstrate a five-year supply of new homes.
