Here are the biggest Kenilworth planning stories from the past week.
'Sad' Bungalow
A fresh scheme to demolish and rebuild a Kenilworth bungalow has been submitted whilst the owner waits to find out whether their previous scheme will be approved on appeal.
Permission to knock down the Fieldgate Lane building - described as 'sad' and 'dilapidated' by residents - and replace it with a five-bed house was refused by Warwick District Council in February.
The applicant has appealed the decision, and whilst a site visit was held by the inspector in June, a final decision is yet to be made.

Special School to be Knocked Down
A special school near Kenilworth will now be demolished and replaced with 25 houses after council planners backed a scheme to build a much larger SEND facility in Coventry.
Plans for the Stoneleigh Road school, which received an inadequate Ofsted rating last year, were recommended for approval by council officers.
A number of complaints had been raised by members of the public about the number of houses that were being considered, but council officers said the scheme was in keeping with the rest of the Kenilworth Road Conservation Area.
-------------
'Unscrupulous Developers'
Three planning issues raised at last week's full council meeting of Warwick District Council will be debated later in the year after councillors agreed to an amendment put forward by the controlling Conservative group.
The notices of motion, proposed by members of the Greens and Labour groups, addressed issues relating to developers not fulfilling their obligations on social housing and infrastructure contributions, the growth of HMOs in certain parts of the district and the minimum size of homes.

Businesses are still wanted to take over units at a major new industrial park near Kenilworth.
Construction of SEGRO Park Coventry Gateway began in January 2020, with up to 3.7million sq ft of infrastructure to be built at the 215 acre development.
Whilst last month it was announced that DHL would invest £240million in a distribution hub on site, owner SEGRO is still look for more companies to come on board and take over the rest of the plots.
-------------
New flats at Montpelier House
An application to create two new flats at Montpelier House on Southbank Road has been approved by Warwick District Council.
Owner Stonewater submitted plans to create the new one-bed rooms just by remodelling the interior.
And the company will create a new new consultation space/meeting room from the current site office.
