Here are the biggest Kenilworth planning stories from the past week.
Multiple objections have been made to plans to build three homes on a potentially contaminated former landfill site in Kenilworth.
If approved, the application would see two four-bed houses and a bungalow built on Farmer Ward Road.
But concerns about cyanide contamination and high methane gas levels have been raised.

Housing Estate Nearly Finished
A 129-house estate on Warwick Road is nearly 75% complete a local developer has said.
Bovis Homes said the Pavilions Development will be completed next year.
And the houses yet to be built are already up for sale.
-------------
New Classrooms
Plans to build two new classrooms at a village primary school have been approved by Warwick District Council.
The scheme will see a new teaching block, including toilets and storage space, built at Burton Green Academy.
But the school says it will not be taking on more students.
-------------
A46 Solar Farm
Plans to build a solar farm the size of 50 football pitches along the A46 near Sherbourne have been revealed.
If approved, the scheme would see four fields on the west side of the road just before the Longbridge roundabout dedicated to generating electricity.
And according to the application submitted by Neo Environmental Ltd, the 33.6 hectare green belt site will have nearly 50,000 modules built on it.
-------------
Harmful Garage
The new owner of a detached home in Kenilworth has been given permission to build a detached garage complete with dovecote after the original integral one had been converted into a gym.
A number of neighbours and the district councillor had objected to the plans for the Fieldgate Lane property but members of last week's Warwick District Council planning committee approved the scheme by nine votes to three.
-------------
Woodside Hotel must be protected
Kenilworth councillors have said the town council must do what it can to make sure that the Woodside Hotel is used for the benefit of the local community and not just turned into houses.
Plans to demolish the hotel were recently rejected, whilst campaigns have suggested the site be used for the town's new leisure facilities.
And councillors said the site needs to be protected for some sort of community use.
