Kenilworth Town Council

Plans to create a "green corridor" between Kenilworth and Coventry have been met with scepticism by town councillors worried about the knock-on impact of the scheme.

HS2 roadworks in Kenilworth appear to be in competition with non-HS2 roadworks, a town councillor joked as the issue of traffic disruption in the town was once again discussed.

Town councillors have thanked the community for its huge response to a consultation which could shape the future of Castle Green car park.

Warwick District Council

No formal offer has yet been submitted by Homes England to buy the former Kenilworth School site at Leyes Lane, residents have been told.

The ex-chair of Warwickshire County Council is "considering" stepping down as a councillor altogether having had two rental properties closed over "serious safety failures". 

The leader of Warwickshire County Council is facing a third code of conduct complaint amid accusations that his demeanour has become "much more aggressive" in social media videos.

The councillor in charge of Warwickshire's roads has been given a first-hand view of the "dangers" on a busy Kenilworth road.

A Kenilworth councillor has said it is the "best Christmas present" she could ask for that works to create a new footpath along a busy piece of Kenilworth road are nearly finished.

The state of potholes across Warwickshire has been rated 'amber' in a new interactive map released this month.

Conservative councillors have criticised an "ill-tempered" and "disingenuous" response from the leader of Warwickshire County Council as they continue to lock horns over a letter sent to the education secretary last year.
