Talisman Fringe

"Fooling Around"

There'll be plenty of fooling around at the the next Talisman Fringe as we provide yet another great line up of two short one act plays and acoustic pop songs from a very talented local singer/songwriter. April is set to be another evening that promises for a great night out with live entertainment. So don't be a fool – make sure you don't miss out and get booking your tickets for our next Talisman Fringe night!

Play: 'The Mistress Bedroom' written by Nicolas Ridley

Director: Henri West

Cast: Emily Tuff, Emma Ritson and Laurie Weston

Synopsis: A husband decides it's time for his 'Mistress' to move into the family home. However, when he broaches this with his wife the outcome isn't what he'd hoped for.

Daniel Barrie is a hugely talented young upcoming singer-songwriter. His imagination, observational skills and love of melody infuse each of his wonderful catchy acoustic pop songs.

"With a sublime acoustic guitar solo, it's no surprise that John Mayer is cited as one of Daniel's influences……Daniel is definitely on the right track with his song writing and is clearly a very talented guitarist as well. An exciting future is ahead of him."

Review of 'The One', Send Me Your Ears, March 2022

Play: 'It's All in the Mind' written by Richard Layton

Director: David Draper

Cast: Alan Wales, John Francis and Chris Carpenter

Synopsis: 'It's All in the Mind' features a stage hypnotist whose act goes spectacularly wrong due to neglecting to obtain a performance licence for the show. But who is ultimately responsible for what ensues is anybody's guess.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Holiday Inn for a great night out.
