The Corner Pocket returns at 8pm on Tuesday 12th August with our next evening of great live music. Swing from Paris are an all-string jazz quartet of violin (Fenner Curtis), guitars (Andy Bowen and Sam Hughes) and double bass (Tomasz Williams), inspired by the music of the 1930s, '40s and '50s: from Benny Goodman, Charlie Christian, and Artie Shaw to Django Reinhardt, Stéphane Grappelli and the master of tango Astor Piazzolla.

Their Parisian-flavoured jazz and vintage swing has been delighting audiences for almost 20 years: from major jazz festivals including the Django Reinhardt Festival at Samois-sur-Seine, to being invited to perform at the French Ambassador's residence for Bastille Day.

All are welcome to come along with tickets available at the door priced £10. It's half price for students and U25's. There's ample free parking and a licensed bar. Hope to see you there!
