Kenilworth Sporting rescued yet another point in injury time thanks to a late Harry Wilson strike against Alcestis.
In what Sporting manager Martin Ascroft described as a "game of two halves" Kenilworth trailed at half time as Alcester took the lead on 25 minutes.
"In first 10 minutes of the first half I thought we were comfortable and had Alcester on the back foot but I couldn't have been more wrong .
"Alcester took the lead midway through the first half and deserved their lead at half time," said Ascroft.
After stiff words at half time Kenilworth came out fighting for the second 45 but were unable to find the breakthrough.
Sporting kept plugging until the end and got their reward on 94 minutes when Harry Wilson jinked his way to the edge of the box and unleashed an absolutely beautiful shot into the corner of the Alcester goal.
Ascroft praised the resilience of his team after the game: "One thing I will give my young squad is they don't know they are beat, there never say due attitude paid off again."
But added: "We need to improve and quickly. If it means we go and bring some new faces in we will."
