Late equaliser denies Kenilworth first win of the season

League leaders Folly Lane scored a controversial last second equaliser to snatch a point from Wardens in an exciting six-goal thriller.
It was the fifth time in their last eight matches Folly have scored in the last second to change the result.
Wardens start of the season had been difficult with three losses in a row and just one goal, whereas Folly Lane recorded four wins and 19 goals from their opening fixtures.
However, Kenilworth went ahead almost from the kick off. A corner routine saw Eamonn Richards' ball flicked on by the returning Ben Edmunds and James Clay attacked behind him and bundled in for his first goal of the season.
Wardens' start got better on eight minutes. Richards played to Clay on the half way line, who beat two players before finding Sol Bloomer out to the left. He beat his man and whipped the ball into the back post for Edmunds to head the ball back across goal to make it 2-0.
Folly Lane put continued pressure on the Wardens defence but could not create a goal scoring opportunity, largely due to the defending of the Kenilworth back four and the handling of Tom Day in goal.
Folly did hit the top of the cross bar of three separate occasions, each time the ball looping over for a goal kick.
Wardens looked dangerous on the counter, especially with Edmunds out wide and came closest to scoring a third from another Richards set piece.
Playing with the wind, Folly kept the ball firmly in the Wardens half in the second half but still struggled to create openings.
On 67 minutes the consistent pressure finally broke Wardens defence though. Twycross won the ball in his own half and Wardens felt he was clearly fouled from behind, but the referee let play go on, the ball was hit forward and Cockburn's defensive header fell to a Folly player 20 yards out who excellently curled into the corner.
Folly drew level three minutes later, when a good move fell to a player 25 yards out who hammered the ball into the top corner, leaving Day with no chance.
With the game level again, Kenilworth got a foothold in the game on the counter.
On 80 minutes pressure from Dylan Wright won the ball back in the left back position, captain James Butler curled the ball into the channel where Edmunds beat the defender and keeper for pace, cut past both and passed into the goal for his second of the game and Wardens' third.
Despite only three minutes of additional time indicated, in the 97th minute Folly Lane won a corner and the ball was bundled in at the back post.
Wardens players were livid due to what they felt several fouls in the box, including Day being thrown into the goal. The referee immediately signalled for the end of the game.
"Folly Lane are an excellent team," Richards said after the game.
"Technically brilliant, press really well, really aggressive, good at set pieces and can score goals from a variety of different places. Sure they'll go on to win the league this year.
"Obviously incredibly frustrating to concede in the last kick. Especially since game should have been over and the absolutely clear stone wall fouls in the box. Equally felt the first goal there was a clear foul.
"However we were great today. Back four and Tom Day were excellent. Proctor and Clay were brilliant, especially first half. And having Ben Edmunds back makes all the difference, he looks dangerous every second of the game.
"I think this game showed we're not far away from being able to compete and beat any team in the league. And results will definitely start to improve and wins will come."
