Ahead of the event the three had originally set a target of raising £150 for the charity

As Remembrance Sunday yesterday could not be observed in the usual fashion, three Kenilworth men completed the 'Paras' 10' event in aid of Support Our Paras.

Glen Iceton, Paul Edwards, and Bob Stear all successfully ran the 10 mile route with the adage that they had to be wearing boots and carrying a 35lb pack the whole way to replicate military fitness and selection tests.

A unique 'Buy-A-Bike' alternative gift scheme has been launched in Kenilworth by this year's Mayor of Kenilworth, Cllr Richard Dickson.

All 54 pupils at Crackley Hall School, Kenilworth who took the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA) examinations in September have been awarded the highest grade possible, a distinction.

The children who are now in Junior Two, Junior Three and Junior Six studied for the examinations in their drama lessons in school last year.
