A free concert paying tribute to those in Warwick district who have been affected by Covid-19 is to be streamed online on Saturday 24 April.

Brainchild of the council's green spaces team, 'BandStand Together' is a unique online gig recorded by local musicians. Each artists has been given a selection of songs dedicated to someone who has made a difference in the community, or has had a particularly difficult time due to the pandemic.

As well as for her literary knowledge, Tamsin Rosewell of Kenilworth Books is well known for her creative and distinctive designs for the shop's front window. The latest of which is in support of author Julia Rawlinson with the release of her latest book 'Fletcher and the Caterpillar'.

Volunteer Expo Online, which is being hosted by Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland, is taking place virtually on 7 and 8 May. The free event will connect individuals and organisations from across society to inspire and celebrate those who love to give something back.

This week high streets in England are welcoming customers back, with restaurants and bars able to operate outdoors, in accordance with the Government's roadmap out of lockdown. While this is great news, Kenilworth Dogs Trust is urging dog owners to prepare now so they can keep their dogs safe and happy during this next stage of lockdown easing.

Royal Spa Brass Band assemble to by the duck pond to greet arriving guests

A fanfare welcome by a Leamington brass band awaited the first guests arriving back at Winchcombe Farm in Warwickshire today (April 12), marking the end of the latest six-month closure for the business.

The five-star glamping retreat, in Upper Tysoe, greeted guests with an exclusive brass band concert by their duck pond as part of a special celebration of their reopening.
