Almost £2 million is to be invested in digital technology across the West Midlands to boost productivity and growth in manufacturing and engineering.

As part of the investment, five digital experts have been appointed to improve the digital skills of employees and improve the work of small and medium sized businesses through the Made Smarter programme.

Warwick District Council has revealed plans to build 620 new houses in Kenilworth over the next eight years, after investing in the land around the Woodside Hotel.

The 76-acre site had a planning application for the houses and a new primary school approved by the district council prior to purchase from Catesby Estates.
