Here are all the headlines and news stories from July in Kenilworth.
Warwick District Council has finally made a decision on the Abbey Fields Lido, announcing that the outdoor pool will not reopen in 2021. Read the Lido Campaign group's reaction here.
The ticketing office at Kenilworth Railway Station is also set to close.
Following concerns locally and nationally about high Covid-19 infection rates, numbers in Warwick district have begun to fall.
The traffic calming consultation for Warwick Road was published by Warwickshire County Council this month:
- No decision has been made yet on the 20mph speed limit.
- No speed bumps of humps.- Pavement repairs set for 2022.
PM Boris Johnson was in the constituency delivering a speech on the government's 'levelling up' scheme.
Parents protested outside Shire Hall regarding WCC's SEND provisions.

Funding has been made available from WCC for a new 'Community Garden' and household 'Repair Cafe' for Kenilworth.
The BBC broadcast the second episode of the Antiques Roadshow filmed at Kenilworth Castle.
A further 35 bicycles were donated to schoolgirls in Tanzania.

But the biggest headline from local sport in July is that the new England Under-21 football manager will be Lee Carsley who lives in Kenilworth.
Closely followed by Kenilworth local Jacob Umaga making his senior debut for the England rugby team.
Further football success has also come for Kenilworth Wardens who kicked off their preseason with a plate trophy win at Stockton Sports and Social Club.
Kenilworth Sporting have also unveiled three new signings as they prepare for their first season in the Midland Football League Division Two.
