Shop's New Look

A former Christian charity shop in Kenilworth can now been given a new look, as plans to remodel the front of the building have been given the green light by district planners.

Home care company Unique Senior Care - which opened this summer - has been granted planning permission to give the shopfront at The Square a makeover.

Works approved by Warwick District Council (WDC) will see the current wooden frames replaced with a "more modern and energy efficient double glazed aluminium" design.

Sign's Error

A historical inaccuracy is set to be fixed on one of the new wayfinding posts around Kenilworth.

Plans to install 12 new signposts around the town were signed off in April, with Kenilworth Town Council (KTC) now having installed the first set.

The land near the town's recycling centre is informally used by dog walkers, even though it is private land.

The application to Warwick District Council said many of the existing paths are in poor condition and are not well signposted.
