Here is a roundup of the biggest decisions that have been made by the local councils in the last month.

And for more local planning decisions, keep an eye out for our weekly updates published every Wednesday morning.

Kenilworth Town Council

As the council prepares for the long-term future of Station Road members have revealed that it could cost £50,000 to pave the temporarily closed street.

Money could also be spent on brightening up the appearance of the Warwick Road Post Office.

And the town council hosted the Proclamation of the Accession of King Charles III at Kenilworth Castle.

Warwick District Council

The district council has announced it will take action to put regulate events at the Garden Bar at the Pavilion following complaints from neighbours.

While on the other side of town WDC has said it will only give more money to Kenilworth Wardens sports club if guarantees are made about its long term future.

And struggling residents could be set to pay no council tax if a new scheme is approved.

Further investigations are set to take place at Abbey Fields after WDC announced that contracts had been signed for the redevelopment project.

The district's tennis courts could soon be under new management with applications now open.

Matt Western MP has voiced his support for WDC chair Cllr Mini Mangat after reports that she has suffered racist abuse.

Warwickshire County Council

The council has this month approved four different schemes totalling £3million to create junctions for a new 550-house estate being built in Kenilworth.

WCC has also asked for feedback on plans to create a new cycleway as part of the K2L project.

While the council leader has demanded an immediate review after some children were left without school places at the start of term.

And more than 70 schools will have their road safety measures checked under a new scheme.

A select number of schools may also benefit from a new air quality monitoring project.

£140,000 will be spent on a new tree nursery.

And £15million has been earmarked to buffer the rising costs of building projects across the county.

WCC has had to provide more funding to a village primary school's expansion after its project went up £110,000 in price.
