Your new companyYour new job will be working within a Primary School in Kenilworth, which is accessible on a bus route from the likes of Leamington, Warwick, Kenilworth, Coventry. The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis going into September. The job is supporting two pupils between their Reception and Year 6 class. The hours are Monday to Friday, 8.45-15.15. The rate of pay for this job will be between £80-£90 per day, depending on your level of experience.

Your new roleYour new job will be supporting two pupils within their primary school setting. In the AM you will be supporting a pupil in Reception and in the afternoon supporting a pupil in Year 6. Both of these pupils are very gentle children who will need a Teaching Assistant with a kind and caring approach. The main support in Year 6 is really to support taking the child for sensory breaks and then helping them to settle back to work. You are not required to be familiar with the KS2 curriculum, but this would be beneficial. The pupils are very gentle and sensitive and are easy to connect with. You will have a half-hour lunch break, and spend the other half hour supporting the pupil to interact with his peers.

What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this job you will need-

• Experience working with children, and have worked in a child-related job within the last 2 years.
• You must be supportive and engaging, whilst demonstrating a professional manner.
• You must have some experience supporting children with additional needs.
• You must have a calm and caring approach to your teaching style.
