We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Computer Science Teacher to join our dynamic school community. As technology continues to shape our world, this role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and empower the next generation of tech-savvy learners.

Contract: Mon - Fri, 8:30AM - 3:30PM - Term Time Only

Salary: M1 - M6 Teaching pay scale - Final salary based on experience

As a Computer Science Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and interactive lessons that cover a range of computer science topics, including programming, algorithms, cybersecurity, and digital literacy.
  • Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated to explore and experiment with new technologies.
  • Integrating hands-on activities, projects, and real-world applications to enhance student understanding and engagement.
  • Differentiating instruction to accommodate the diverse learning needs and abilities of students.
  • Keeping abreast of advancements in technology and incorporating relevant updates and developments into the curriculum.
  • Fostering digital citizenship and responsible use of technology among students, promoting ethical and safe online behaviour.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • An Enhanced DBS check to ensure the safety and welfare of our students.
  • Previous experience working as a Computer Science Teacher or related field within a school setting.
  • A QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or relevant teaching qualification in Computer Science or a related subject.
  • Deep knowledge and expertise in computer science concepts, programming languages, and emerging technologies.
  • Creativity and innovation in teaching methods, with a passion for exploring new technologies and pedagogical approaches.
