Flora and Fauna in the Knowle Hill Nature Reserve (Kenilworth Naturewatch Week)
Knowle Hill Nature Reserve
UNTIL Friday 4th June

This reserve is a mix of grassland, scrub and woodland. It is really important for butterflies and at least 24 species have been recorded here since 1991, such as small skipper, small copper, purple hairstreak and marbled white.
There are also many types of grasses including fescues and bents, Yorkshire-fog and smooth meadow-grass, which attract numerous insects.
Come and join Peter and Wendy for a guided walk around the reserve where Peter will talk generally about the Reserve and the work of the Trust, and Wendy will talk about the flora and fauna that can be seen there.
Event time: 10am-11.30am
You must pre-register for this event.
