Kenilworth Flower Guild Presentation and Workshop

– entry fee of £3 to include coffee

Out next Presentation and Workshop will be on Saturday 11th May at the usual time of 10.30am in St Nicholas Church, when We will demonstrate a semi crescent design. This is a traditional shape and a lovely soft following design, for those wishing to join in the workshop afterwards I know that you will enjoy doing it and find it rewarding.

Everyone is welcome to come a watch and/or do the Workshop; so please bring your friends and family along for a morning of fun with flowers, we will look forward to welcoming you.

Recipe for a Semi Crescent design

A pedestal container approximately 12 inches tall this could be a jug a candle stick with a container on the top or a tall vase.

Foam which will be for sale.

Selection of soft foliage's e.g. Fern, pittosporum, eucalyptus 

A few single leaves e.g. Ivy, heuchera, Hosta (the Hosta is very new so please condition it well)

A bunch of roses, Spray carnations and Freesia. 

Choose delicate flowers, so no chrysanthemums or lilies, try and think of things in season have a look at what is coming into flower in the gardens.
