The courts at Kenilworth Tennis, Squash and Croquet Club (KTSCC) have been buzzing this summer as the club's men's and ladies' teams delivered a season to remember.

From thrilling victories to hard-fought promotions, the club's players have showcased skill, determination, and team spirit.

Men's Teams Shine

KTSCC's men's teams closed the season on a high note.

The first team comfortably avoided relegation in the top division, demonstrating class and consistency.

The second team narrowly missed promotion after a dramatic finale at Leamington. Meanwhile, the third and fourth teams celebrated promotion in the final week, finishing second in their leagues.

Men's team captain Stan is now gearing up for the winter season and welcomes new players to join the squad.

Captain's Day Returns

Stan and ladies' captain Carolyn will co-host the twice-annual Captain's Day on 28 September, combining competitive tennis with social fun.

Social Tennis Thrives

KTSCC's social tennis events - men's, ladies', and mixed - are back to being coach-led, with James, Stan, and Charlie ready to welcome players of all levels.

Stan will also host the start-of-season Sunday mixed social tournament.

Ladies' Teams Celebrate Exceptional Achievements

The ladies' teams enjoyed one of their finest seasons in the Coventry and District League.

The first team finished as Premier Division runners-up, highlighted by a stunning 4-0 away victory over Warwick Boat Club.

Both the second and third teams earned promotion from Division Two after fierce battles, including head-to-head showdowns.

The fifth team topped Division Five, also securing promotion.

Thanks go to Carolyn Lindsay, team captains, and all players - ranging from teenagers to over-70s - who made the season a triumph.

Several ladies also proudly represented Warwickshire in county matches hosted at the club. This winter, the ladies will field three teams in both the County Vets and Stratford leagues.

Junior Success

Congratulations to Sampson Alexander, who finished runner-up in the U8 County Championships mini red event - a fantastic achievement that promises a bright future.
