It has been a "fantastic summer" for the ladies' tennis teams at Kenilworth Tennis Squash and Croquet Club with an impressive 43 players representing the Crackley Lane club in the Coventry & District League.

The first team currently holds third place in the Premier Division with one match to play away at Warwick Boat Club.

Meanwhile there are congratulations to the second team who secured the Division Two title in style after a thrilling match against KTSCC's own third team. They themselves are still in the promotion chase.

The fifth team are also on track to win Division Five, with their final match against the mid-table fourth team.

"We're particularly proud of our junior players making a strong impact this season," the club said.

"Looking ahead, three teams will again compete in both the Warwickshire Vets and Stratford winter leagues.

"A big thank you to captain Carolyn Lindsay for her excellent organisation."
