Kenilworth Tennis, Squash & Croquet Club is set to host a 'watch party' as the club's own Sarah-Jane Perry eyes squash gold at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games this summer.

Sarah-Jane, who has gone through the club's pathway since the age of nine, is now number six in the Women's World PSA rankings and has been selected for the Team England squad for this year's Games.

She is seeded number two in her quest for gold. And not content with this challenge she is also playing in the doubles.

The women's singles preliminary rounds start Friday 29 July, followed by the semi-finals on Tuesday 2 August with the finals on August 3.

The doubles start the following day finishing on 8 August.

The club said it is very proud of 'SJ', and has announced that it is having a 'watch party' at the club for members to cheer Sarah-Jane on as it's shown live on TV.

If she gets through to the singles semi final ITV news will also be joining them at the club.
