In front of a rugby-starved crowd bolstered by the presence of Kenilworth's former Colts from 1970 to present day, the home side continued to keep the pressure on at the top of Midlands One West table with a convincing win over a tenacious Ludlow side.
Only two points separated the teams back in October when a slightly depleted Kenilworth side snatched victory in the shadow of Ludlow Castle, so they were well aware of the challenge that the visitors could pose.

A debut hat-trick from new signing Tami Agboola helped Kenilworth Women secure a bonus-point win at a windy, rainy Barnsley.
Barnsley made the brighter start, with their fly half dummying and darting through the defence before being tackled five metres short of the line by number 8 Phillippa Rawbone and centre Felicity Baldwin.
The pre match talk was that this could be the game of the season so far and plenty of Kenilworth supporters had made the relatively short journey to Lichfield's impressive Cookes Field ground in anticipation of hopefully turning over the league leaders.
On a sunny but blustery day both sides put on a match worthy of the hype and also probably worthy of at least the league above.
Kenilworth Women showed a gutsy display and earned a much-needed win at home to Sefton Ladies on Sunday.
Kenilworth spent the majority of the opening forty in their own half, with some ill-discipline costing them precious metres.

Kenilworth's first XV produced a spectacular display as they scored 123 against Worcester to no reply.
