Kenilworth Wardens put nine past Warwick Juniors Seniors to make it five wins from five so far this campaign.

Having trailed to an early Ionut Macsim spot kick, the hosts turned on the style, making it back to back wins against Warwick, scoring 15 goals in the process.

The visitors started on the front foot and were rewarded from their early pressure with a penalty after keeper Tom Day brought a Warwick forward down in the box. This was dispatched by Macsim into the bottom corner as Warwick sought to put last week's 6-2 drubbing out of their minds.

But their lead would not last for long, George Eddington powering home a Harrison Wright corner minutes later to bring things level.

Moments later Eddington turned provider, his long ball finding Charlie Waters to race through and hit a thunderbolt into the roof of the net.

While Warwick continued to put on the pressure, Wright used his pace to get in behind their back line and was brought down in the box.

Mark Hickey stepped up and converted down the middle to double Kenilworth's advantage.

But they were then pegged back through another spot kick at the other again, which was again tucked home by Macsim.

Any chance of a comeback though was quickly snuffed out when Sean Povey's strike was parried into the path of Hickey to tap home his brace before the break.

Following the restart, Wardens immediately took charge creating chances on goal but without converting. The biggest of which saw Hickey denied his hat trick as he missed from the spot having been brought down in the box.

But wave after wave of Wardens pressure paid off when a forward run from Eddington led to Wright being played in to fire into the top corner.

Moments later James Butcher found himself on the score sheet with a brilliant dipping strike over the keeper's head and into the back of the net.

Waters then claimed himself another brace when he had the pull put on a plate by Leo Parnell-Notice to tap home.

As Warwick's heads dropped things got worse with debutant Jonno Robinson fired a bullet of a strike into the top corner from the edge of the box, leaving the keeper stranded.

Once again Harrison found himself being bought down in the box for captain Povey to convert and cap off the 9-2 victory.
