Martin Ascroft has said he needs to bring in some new faces as his out of form Kenilworth Sporting delivered another disappointing performance as they were held by Earlswood.

The visitors travelled without five of their first team regulars looking to bounce back after defeat in the last fixture at the same venue.

However promotion hopefuls Kenilworth were unable to find the back of the net and missed from the penalty spot from the second game in a row.

Having won just one of their last five games, the goalless draw leaves them fourth, 18 points off leaders Cadbury.

"It's very clear that I need to bring in some new faces moving forward," manager Ascorft said after the game.

"It was always going to be a tough ask with so many regular starters not available to me today.

"It's the wrong time of the season for the sudden dip in our form, which obviously doesn't help when you don't have enough strength in depth to be as competitive as you would like.

"For the second successive week we missed a penalty to get more from both the games.

"We move onto next weeks fixture hoping that I get a reaction from the boys."
