Rain thwarts Kenilworth's victory hopes against Nether Whitacre

Rain frustrated Kenilworth Cricket Club's chances of victory over Nether Whitacre as the Town side chased down the final three wickets.
Kenilworth had posted 181 for nine from their 50 overs, with Joe Atkinson 46 and Tom Booker 57 putting on 88 for the first wicket.
George Baines then chipped in with 19 and Connor Shingler 15 (not out), as Rawlings took 4-40 for the visitors.
Nether Whitacre reached 129 for seven as the rain wiped out the rest of the game with 16 overs left to bowl.
Knight and Swaffer had each made 22 for Nether Whitacre with Steve Rhodes taking 2-36 and Atkinson 2-17 for Kenilworth.
Kenilworth 2nd XI v. Massey Ferguson
The Kenilworth second XI were far too strong for Massey Ferguson who were skittled out for 66 as Dave Gamble took a stunning 5-2 in 7.5 overs, five of which were maidens.
Shyaan Iman also claimed 2-20 whilst there was a wicket each for Christian Mortlock, Will Machin and Will Sheehan.
Kenilworth had earlier posted 153 for 10 with James Adamson top scoring with 36. Pete Huxford added 25, Sam Leach 18 and Dave Smithson 15.
The Town side breezed to victory thanks to Gamble's fine efforts and the other bowlers' accurate spells to pick up maximum points for their 87-run win.
Kenilworth 3rd. XI v. Overbury
Kenilworth's third XI extended their lead in the Cotswold Hills Cricket League Division Six table over second place Bretforton after a comprehensive victory against Overbury.
Bottom placed Overbury were bowled out for just 52 after Geoff Edmunds took 3-11 from his nine overs. Matt Dadswell took 2-8 from his six overs, whilst there was a wicket each for Dhruv Vyas and James Sparks.
With the bat in hand, league leaders Kenilworth reached the required 54 in just 8.1 overs, losing just one batsmen to claim a nine-wicket win.
Whilst the wicket fell in the first over, father and son duo of Uma and Keeran Umashanker put on 53 runs together in quick time to see Kenilworth to victory and to a 37 point gap over Bretforton.
