Kenilworth Cricket Club managed to cling onto a draw in their match at Olton to end their host's outside chances of lifting the Warwickshire Cricket League Division One title.

Olton had declared after posting 273 for four from their 48 overs.

Marc Webb hit an unbeaten 122 as he shared in a fourth wicket partnership of 139 with Arwand Barnard (52). There was a wicket a piece for Kenilworth bowlers, Darius Potten-Ravenshad, Matt Casey and Jono Sparks.

In reply, Kenilworth were never going to reach the set target.

Pat Howard hit 23 and Chris Prophet 19 whilst George Baines frustrated Olton's effort with a miserly unbeaten 19 from his 123-ball innings.

Kenilworth then lost three quick wickets on 106 but managed to survive and end the day on 119 for eight from 52 overs much to the frustrations of Olton.

Philip Trilloe had taken 4-25 and Hayden Burke 2-11 from his 11 overs for the hosts.

Kenilworth 2nd XI v. Oakfield & Rowlands

Oakfield & Rowlands beat Kenilworth Cricket Club's second XI by 32 runs as Kenilworth failed to chase down their score of 131 for eight.

Oakfield were restricted thanks to Ben Clark's 3-23 and 2-22 from Dave Gamble. Tom Skinner, Matt Dadswell and Sam Leach claimed a wicket each after Hill had made 32, Pinipitiga 31 and Mobbs 22 for the visitors.

Despite a solid 39 from Dave Smithson, 19 from Clarke and 15 from Shayaan Imam, no other Town batsmen made double figures and their innings fell away and the side was bowled out for only 99.

Naratanga took 4-21, Robinson 2-21 and Klaeson 2-25 for the visitors and their win eases their relegation fears.
