The brand-new clubhouse and drainage facilities have made the venue into to the perfect place for a community-based non league football team to thrive.
New manager Martin Ascroft has said, "we want the club to be part of the community again, we want to create a team people want to come and watch on their weekends off."
This new opportunity from is the perfect opportunity for a member of the community to get involved.
In partnership with Kenilworth Nub News, the club would like to offer the opportunity for an aspiring sports journalist to cover their home fixtures for the 2020/21 season. This would involve attending all home games, writing a match report for each fixture, as well as interviewing players and staff.
Full guidance and support would be offered by Kenilworth Nub News, as well as hospitality on match days from Kenilworth Sporting.
The position, although unpaid, would offer a fantastic opportunity for any student considering a career in journalism, and looking for some hands-on experience working with a team of professional editors and journalists.

"It encapsulates perfectly what Nub News and Kenilworth Sporting are trying to achieve in forging links with the Kenilworth community.
"I would encourage anybody who is even slightly thinking of applying to get in touch and find out more about the role. I am more than happy to take the time to talk to any potential applicants to answer any questions that they might have."
Anybody between the ages of 16 and 21 can apply. All they need to do is submit a brief 250-word synopsis about why they want to take on the role, and why they would be suited to it.
Kenilworth Nub News have already had great success reporting the latest sports news from the town, through their dedicated Sports Section. From the Croquet club, to the Kenilworth Wardens, as well as Kenilworth Cricket Club and many others. This is yet another great opportunity to be part of that.
