Kenilworth Sporting have today announced that they are looking for a new team physiotherapist to join the coaching staff at Gypsy Lane.

Newly-appointed manager Martin Ascroft is clear in his determination to revive the spirit around non-league football in Kenilworth, and this latest announcement is a clear statement of intent that Kenilworth Sporting want to take the season seriously.

He has said "we are eagerly seeking a physio for our team. The role would suit a student that is studying in that field, but anyone interested we would gladly chat to.

"We would need them to be able to commit to home and away games, but all expenses would be covered, and a tracksuit and all equipment will also be provided by us."

The site and club have been resurrected by Geoff Harris of Coventry Plumbing and Heating Supplies.

Geoff has reinvested in the sleeping giant, building a brand new club house, and installing high-quality drainage to ensure that the playing surface at Gypsy Lane is as good as it can be.

The land, formerly the home of Kenilworth Town FC, will now host Kenilworth Sporting as they hope to bounce back and reignite the support of the town.

New manager Ascroft has said, "we want the club to be part of the community again, we want to create a team people want to come and watch on their weekends off."

The hunt for more backroom staff has come just a day after Sporting announced the signing of Charlie McConnachie from Coventry Sphinx yesterday.

Sporting returned to Gypsy Lane last Saturday, producing a fine 4-1 victory over neighbours Leamington Hibernian, as their one hundred per cent record to the season continues.
