Spark 2020

Following the success of last year's inaugural event for the creative sector, Warwick District Council has announced that Spark 2021; Ignite, will take place from 22 to 26 February.

Last year more than 380 delegates from the district's arts, entertainment, digital and cultural community came together for a day of fact finding, discussion and performance at the Royal Spa Centre.

A Warwickshire computer repair company has been donated used laptops to children home-schooling this January

A Warwickshire IT company has been renovating old laptops and computers to give to local primary schools to help with home schooling during the third national lockdown.

Phil Bear of 'The Speedy Bear' computer and laptop care has been repairing and restoring used laptops, donated by residents from Kenilworth, Coventry, and Warwickshire, to give to local school children in need this January.

The names of seven new gritters were released today

One of a new fleet of gritters operated by Warwickshire County Council has been named in memory of a former Cubbington resident after the local community were given the opportunity to name the new vehicles.

The gritter now named 'Grey13 Hero' is dedicated to the memory of former Cubbington man Jack Mitchell (John Arthur Mitchell) and was put forward by his daughter, Alison Mitchell.
