Warwickshire County Council has released the artwork for one of its new fleet of gritters that has been named in memory of a former Cubbington resident.

The gritter now named 'Grey13 Hero' is dedicated to the memory of former Cubbington man Jack Mitchell (John Arthur Mitchell). The name was put forward by his daughter, Alison Mitchell, when the public were asked to submit names for the new gritter fleet.

Kenilworth residents are set to see an increase in council tax bills as Warwick District Council agreed its annual budget tonight (February 24).
