Warwickshire County Council has released the artwork for one of its new fleet of gritters that has been named in memory of a former Cubbington resident.

The gritter now named 'Grey13 Hero' is dedicated to the memory of former Cubbington man Jack Mitchell (John Arthur Mitchell). The name was put forward by his daughter, Alison Mitchell, when the public were asked to submit names for the new gritter fleet.

A digital gift voucher project designed to support Kenilworth independents has been given a boost by Warwickshire County Council's £80k town centres Tech Challenge fund.

The Tech Challenge fund, launched by the county council in November 2020, is supporting three digital initiatives (two in South Warwickshire, one in North Warwickshire) which will boost support for town centre businesses.

66 bikes were presented to their new owners in Uyogo

The local group 'Kenilworth-Uyogo Friendship Link' has expressed its thanks to the many people of Kenilworth who made donations to help enable female students cycle quickly and safely to school in rural Tanzania.

The 'Buy-A-Bike' alternative gift scheme was launched in November 2020 by this year's Mayor of Kenilworth, Cllr Richard Dickson.
