Here are our top picks for the coming days:

1. Talisman Fringe

Join the Talisman Theatre for the first Fringe evening of 2024, 'Scenes From a Park Bench' at the Holiday Inn this Thursday (February 1).

The evening will see four different plays, all from playwright Paul Smith, woven together by live music from park busker, Dan Gough.

All these plays take place on a park bench – a spot where people take a breather, chat to friends and take in the world around them.

The four plays were all previously recorded as part of the Talisman’s 'Tea with the Tali' initiative that brought scripts to life via audio recordings during those Covid days, when meeting up in the same room to rehearse wasn’t an option.

The Fringe team are "delighted" to have the opportunity to now re-visit these pieces and get them up on their feet in front of a live audience.

"We have a very talented selection of directors and performers, comprising some more well known faces together with a few that are new to the roles of acting and directing which is what the Fringe is all about," organisers said.

2. Sunday Deals

A new Kenilworth eatery has launched two special deals to attract new customers on Tuesdays and Sundays.

Since opening in November, Nur Nur Paradise on Warwick Road has been a big hit with locals, with its Thai fusion menu - also available via Click & Collect.

The recently released lunchtime offering has also proved popular, inspired by traditional southeast Asian lunchbox food.

And now the new independent restaurant is offering customers the chance to sample its menu on Tuesdays and Sundays with its new offers introduced this week.

On Tuesdays, diners can enjoy two courses from the all-day menu for £22.95 - and receive up to £10 off a bottle of wine to go with their food.

And on Sundays, a similar offer of three courses for £25.99 has now been introduced.

Why not give them a try over the next few days!

3. Kid's Karaoke

Head to the Copperhouse Club this Saturday (February 3) for kid's karaoke from 5pm to 7pm.

"We are excited for our first kids karaoke," organisers said. "We are a family friendly club lots of different live entertainment coming up so follow our Facebook page Copperhouse Club Kenilworth."
