A new Thai restaurant which opened in Kenilworth last month, has announced a new lunchtime menu, inspired by traditional south-east Asian lunchbox food.

Nur Nur Paradise, which welcomed customers for the first time in November, has launched a new 'Pinto' lunch menu, offering selections of small plates.

Now available to customers, the lunchtime offering allows diners to sample a selection of Thai dishes, from curries to noodles and from fish to stir fry.

"In Thailand it is more traditional to have small plates of a few dishes," owner Lee Wongsalees told Nub News.

"It helps to balance the flavours and balance the spice of the dishes like that.

"Lots of people in Thailand use these Pinto lunchboxes so that is the inspiration.

"We want people to experience our menu too, so the small dishes are a good way of doing that as well."

There are also different spice levels available for the selections, catering to all tastes.

The menu itself also explains a bit of the history behind Pinto boxes, as well as giving the meaning to some of the Thai words used.

Alongside the fresh lunchtime offering is a newly devised children's menu which promises to "introduce children to Thai food".

Available throughout the day, the youngster's menu offers small plates of Thai food, as well as more traditional western dishes.

The Warwick Road business is also set to launch a weekly competition, offering a prize each week to the child who does the best drawing or colouring in on the menu itself!

And with the Thai fusion eatery now having been open for a few weeks, Lee said he has been really pleased with the support from local people.

"Lots of people have given us great feedback and been very supportive," he said.

"We have had lots of good reviews online, and many people have told us they want us to succeed.

"And even in the first month we have had lots of repeat customers already which is great."
