Twelve businesses in Kenilworth have been nominated for regional awards which recognise the work of local independents.

The businesses have been named across 10 different categories in the 'Muddy Awards 2023' which opened for voting yesterday (May 18).

Organised for the 10th time by online guide Muddy Stilettos Warwickshire and West, the awards recognise five different businesses in each of 27 different categories.

Categories cover best beauty salon to best children's business, and all the finalists have been nominated by the public.

Last year nine Kenilworth businesses were nominated.

The Kenilworth 2023 finalists are:

Farmers Fayre in Stoneleigh was also nominated for best farm shop or deli.

Organisers said: "A massive thank you for taking the time to support your awesome local businesses this year.

"Frankly, the response has blown our socks off – this awards nominations stage has been the busiest yet.

"And, while we wish every brilliant business nominated could make it through, there can only be five finalists in each category and it’s up to you to decide who wins the coveted Regional Award.

"Each Regional winner will also be considered for the first ever National Muddy Awards to find the ‘best of the best’ across all 28 Muddy counties – so there’s even more reason to show your support this year!"

Voting will remain open until June 4.
