A busy road into Kenilworth will be closed yet again next month to allow for HS2 works - starting today (February 12).

The high speed rail developer will close Dalehouse Lane between Common Lane and Stoneleigh Road until 1 March.

"To prepare for the construction of Dalehouse Lane Overbridge we will firstly complete a temporary diversion and connection of utilities along Dalehouse Lane," an HS2 statement said.

"To ensure the safety of our workforce and the public we will install a road closure, that will be in place for 24 hours each day, for the duration of the works."

The road was closed for two months at the end of last year - also for utility diversion works.

Kenilworth Town Council had already warned the road will be closed for up to 14 months when full work on the bridge gets underway.
