A Kenilworth town centre pub has closed temporarily for "essential maintenance".

The Lion on Warwick Road confirmed the closure in a statement on social media on Tuesday (September 29).

The notice has not stated exactly when the pub will reopen.

It said: "Please be aware that the pub will be closed for the next few days for essential maintenance.

"We will keep you updated and we apologise for any inconvenience."
