Radio Abbey and Abbey End Studio are "delighted to announce" that Everyone Active has become a major sponsor, marking the beginning of an "exciting partnership built on a shared commitment to community, opportunity and wellbeing".

The station said the sponsorship represents an "investment in the people of Kenilworth".

By supporting Radio Abbey and Abbey End Studio, Everyone Active is "helping to sustain and grow a unique local asset that connects the community and provides opportunities for creativity and learning for all".

For more than 15 years, Radio Abbey has been broadcasting from the heart of the community, creating opportunities for local people to engage.

The studio is home to a broadcast-quality recording booth with a remarkable heritage, having previously been used for major audio productions involving some of the UK's best-known actors and productions.

Today, that same facility is helping young people in Kenilworth develop podcasting, broadcasting, audio production and communication skills through courses, clubs and partnerships with schools.

The sponsorship from Everyone Active will help Radio Abbey and Abbey End Studio continue to provide these opportunities, supporting initiatives that range from youth podcasting projects and employability programmes to community broadcasting and skills development.

This announcement comes at a particularly exciting time for Kenilworth, with the recent opening of Abbey Fields Swimming Pool operated by Everyone Active. The new facility represents a major investment in health, wellbeing and community life across the town, making this partnership a natural fit.
