Kenilworth Specsavers announce charity fundraiser ahead of Valentine's Day

A Kenilworth opticians is sharing the love ahead of Valentine's Day by offering residents the chance to win a pair of designer specs while raising funds for the British Heart Foundation.

Specsavers at 17, The Square, is running a raffle to win the spectacular prize between now and Friday 11 February.

Tickets are available in store for a suggested donation of £2 with the lucky winner being drawn on Saturday 12 February.

All donations will go to the British Heart Foundation – a charity which funds vital research into heart diseases, stroke and vascular dementia as well as their risk factors like diabetes.

"We wanted to give something back this Valentine's and spread a little love, so hopefully this simple initiative will do both," said Specsavers Kenilworth store director, Ambreena Bhatti.

"Heart disease is such a big killer in the UK so the work that the British Heart Foundation does really is vital. We hope people support us in our fundraising efforts."

The Kenilworth branch as also recently benefited from a makeover.

Not only has the store the store increased by 50 per cent in size, it has also had a major refit to create a new, ultra-modern environment designed to ensure staff and customers feel safe and comfortable while in store.

Staff are also maintaining social distancing in stores, continuing to use PPE and sanitising all testing equipment and frames before and after each use.
