Here are the biggest local planning stories from the past week.
Specialist School

HS2 Cutting
Designs for an HS2 cutting which will pass within metres of a local park home estate has been signed off.
The high speed rail developer has been given the green light for the 530 metre-long 'Bockenden Cutting' which will connect to the southern end of the Burton Green 'cut and cover' tunnel.
The HS2 Act decrees the cutting would be made, with Warwick District Council allowed to comment on certain elements of the design.
'Load of Bollards'
Kenilworth locals have been left baffled after a stretch of new pavement in the town centre was dug up last week to make way four new bollards, just weeks after it was laid.
One business owner told Nub News it was "madness" that Warwickshire County Council did not install the posts in February when the blocking off of Station Road was made permanent.
Over the past few weeks, the local authority has planted new trees, installed new planters and today (March 31) begun resurfacing the closed section of road.
