Here are the biggest local planning stories from the past week.
Pub's Makeover
A village pub has applied for planning permission for a makeover to its garden.
Spencerthorpe Holdings ltd has asked Warwick District Council for permission to extend the patio at the Three Horseshoes Inn on Spring Hill, Bubbenhall.
If approved, the plans would also allow the business to keep two patios it has already installed.
Visitor's Centre
Plans to expand and remodel the visitor centre at a local National Trust property have been revealed.
The charity has applied for planning permission for the works at Packwood House in Lapworth.
Described as a "modest extension", the renovations will "enhance the visitor experience".
Wetherspoon's Progress
Pub giant Wetherspoon has been given the green light to install an illuminated hanging sign at its new Kenilworth pub.
The sign will be installed to the front of the Dictum of Kenilworth at The Square and will show Kenilworth Castle, a scroll, a sword and a crown.
Signing off on the application, a Warwick District Council report said: "The design of the hanging sign to the high street elevation is appropriate in this context, with projecting and hanging signs found on other shopfronts and public houses in the streetscene."
